Want to spend two and a half weeks studying creative writing in a great European capital next summer? Join author, publisher, and PSU English Instructor Mark Allen Cunningham for Artful Energy: Interdisciplinary Creative Writing in Vienna, a 4-credit course (WR 407).
City of Beethoven, Mozart, Freud, Klimt, and countless other creative and intellectual luminaries, Vienna offers visitors inspiration at every turn. Through extensive excursions, cultural site visits, seminars, and guest lectures, we will draw on the energizing art and layered history of Vienna in order to broaden the horizons of our writing practice and breathe new life into every line. This year's program includes a sojourn in beautiful and historic Salzburg too!
All PSU students (and even non-PSU students) are welcome. Your financial aid applies, and you can get a scholarship!
